Native tabs and normal website browsing remain the centre of the app, while detected direct media can open in a dedicated Media Player tab without closing the source webpage.
The app uses Apple WebKit for page rendering and keeps browser navigation controls around the page instead of turning the app into a single-purpose player.
Open new tabs, switch between pages and keep the source page open when using the media-player workflow.
Address/search entry, back, forward and reload controls provide standard browser navigation.
WebRTC camera and microphone permission requests are supported for sites that allow calling in WebKit.
For non-DRM direct media detected by the page, “Play in Media Player” opens a dedicated player view. Fullscreen and picture-in-picture use Apple-supported WebKit/AVKit paths.
HTTP CONNECT and SOCKS5 profiles can be configured inside the browser. Proxy credentials are stored in Apple Keychain. Provider accounts, allowances and billing remain external to the app.
Configure a compatible HTTP proxy endpoint and credentials for browser traffic.
Configure a SOCKS5 endpoint where supported by the browser’s proxy path.
Saved proxy passwords are kept in Apple Keychain rather than plain-text preference files.
The app does not attempt to bypass DRM. Netflix, Prime Video and similar protected services remain in their website/WebKit playback path. Direct-media detection and downloading apply only where the media is non-DRM and the website permits that access.
