INJECTING METADATA • MODULE 91

GPS by Timestamp

Recover missing GPS by using a suitable reference file close to the target file's timestamp.

WHAT MODULE 91 DOES

GPS by Timestamp, step by step.

Set tolerance

The user can type the allowed timestamp difference and Apply it before running.

Find closest reference

Search for the closest suitable timestamp match on either side of the target time; separate plus/minus controls are unnecessary.

Inject only a valid match

Write GPS only when a suitable reference is found within tolerance; otherwise leave the file unchanged.

WHEN TO USE IT

Module 91 is location recovery by time relationship. It is not a duplicate stage.

Automatic folder cleanup

After Module 91 completes successfully, the shared bulk housekeeping pass removes genuinely empty folders and continues upward through empty parents throughout the working library. Required roots and folders containing media, sidecars, metadata, databases or any other file remain. Hashes and reusable media assets stay cached; temporary comparison math clears automatically. This does not delete media or require a separate Cleanup action. The same behavior applies when started from Mac or iPad.
